Even on the few crisp days, the skies are often clear, the hills golden brown for most of the year, and the peaks snow-free. This means, of course, we take no control over the conditions. We were but hoping to not be fogged out the entire fourth dimension (which is a very existent possibility in this expanse).
Nearly 6 months afterward, my partner and I boarded the ferry and backpacked into our camp. Just from our tent window, nosotros enjoyed incredible views spanning from San Francisco to the Golden Gate. On the 2 nights we stayed on the isle, something very special happened. Nature gifted us not merely ane, simply Two absolutely spectacular sunsets. I was stunned after the first ane, and even more stunned afterwards this second one. I knew I had to capture every detail of it, and thankfully I had brought my total setup to have this VAST photo!

During my time living in Marin County, I accept discovered countless vistas and compositions that have rarely or never before been professionally photographed. Some are in areas that thousands of people pass every mean solar day, and others are on remote wilderness trails. Dazzler truly is all around us.
One idea I had last year was to spend a few nights on Angel Island, with its spectacular views in all directions. I wanted to sentry a sunset from the mountaintop, and capture a panorama of San Francisco and the North Bay. The problem is, the only way to watch a sunset here is to book a campsite, and the only reliable way to book a camp is to practise then several months out. This means, of form, we accept no control over the weather. We were just hoping to not be fogged out the entire time (which is a very existent possibility in this expanse).
Nigh 6 months later on, my partner and I boarded the ferry and backpacked into our campsite. Just from our tent window, we enjoyed incredible views spanning from San Francisco to the Golden Gate. On the two nights we stayed on the island, something very special happened. Nature gifted usa non simply one, only 2 absolutely spectacular sunsets. I was stunned afterward the commencement one, and even more stunned subsequently this second one. I knew I had to capture every detail of it, and thankfully I had brought my full setup to take this VAST photo!
